What other engines fits a bell housing from a GM 350

" I am in process of swapping out twin crusader gm 350 engines. of 197? - 1985 vintage. 4 bolt main, 2 piece rear main seal. I would like to go to maybe a carb'd 305 vortec style. What engines will bolt up to the bell housing that came from the 350.

"The 305 is the same block, just a smaller bore, so it should bolt up. I think the 4.3 V-6 also has the same bellhousing pattern.

ALL Chevy Bellhousing Bolt Patterns ARE the SAME..........
From the Old 235 6 cylinders,... All the way to the New 4.8ls,+ the 5.3ls, Etc.......

There Are several Other differences,.....
But,...
ALL the Bellhousings are the Same........

Only the Big Blocks use 1 Extra bolt at the Top,... But it's Not really needed........."
