I've noticed that the bus

I've noticed that the bushings that the engine pivots on (when tilted forward) are quite loose and have a lot of play in them. Will it cause any harm to leave them as is? Thanks again everyone!

"Michael.... If by pivot, you're referring to the side to side steering action bushings of the swivel bracket, it's quite unlikely that those bushings would be worn that bad.

I would strongly suspect that the motor mounts are broken in that area. If so, I strongly suggest that you have them replaced. The forward pressure generated by the propeller at full throttle will eventually cause the upper portion of the engine to rip away backwards into the drink, which would ruin a days outing to say the least.
