"Question? Can someone tell me the firing order on a 1981 90hp in-line 6 cyl? It's got coil packs, and I guess my question is: do the plug wires run straight across from coil to plug?"

Paperman..... firing order for that motor is 1-4-5-2-3-6 and yes the plug wires do run across from coil to plug.
