"Harry..... The recommended lube is "HiVis" 80/90w lube, available at your local marine dealership or Wal*Mart or K-Mart to name a few places.

Go to your local Evi

Go to your local Evinrude/Johnson dealer and buy
a 32oz bottle of Ultra H.P.F. gear lube it is by
far a superior lube to Hi-vis,it will give you at least another 100+ rpm,it is a partial synthetic.Your dealer should also have the hand pump that screws onto the bottle to make it very easy! [email protected]"
 
I like the Merc. Blue stuff.

I like the Merc. Blue stuff. Not that I'm a Merc man. I just like that lubricant for the gearcase.
