Bought a spare 20 litre metal
Bought a spare 20 litre metal OMC fuel tank. Fuel gauge didnt work because cork didnt float!
For real the cork was quite heavy made a thud when I threw it in rubbish tin.
The cork floated in a water tank (TESTING) and the gauge worked but not with perol.
Fixed it by using a float from neigbours defunct Ford Trader truck works sweet.
Is the gasket available for underneath the level gauge?
The tank dosent have a vent in the cap how do these tanks breathe?. Cant find anyway it breathes through connection.
It obviously worked before because the squire I bought it off used it on his boat for 20 yrs plus.
