"Can anyone tell me what wot for a 1994 Johnson 25 hp should be? Model # J25EERR. When I bought the boat the tach wasn't working. I since have bought a new one and will install it in a few days. When I get it in the water it would be nice to know what the motor should be doing. Thnx, Merry Christmas"

Maybe I should have asked this

Maybe I should have asked this question instead. What is the maximum rpm recommended by the manufacturer and where do you find the numbers on the prop? It's on a 16ft Gheene and there are usually two average size adults in it when we go. When my wife bought the boat it had a tachometer in it but it didn't work. I bought a new one and am trying to find out where I am with this thing. Thnx
