Fishfinder not finding fish

" I bought my first boat and motor 2 yrs ago to restore and refurbish. well a Hummingbird fishfinder was with the boat. It worked so I put it in the closet till till after the R&R and for some reason now it wont even power up. I have power up to the dash mount where it snaps into place.

It is a TCR 101 Hummingbird

" Hi Tony, I don't know what could be the problem with your depth finder but I have a suggestion. I had an old model Humminbird model 60 that I bought off E-Bay. It worked for a while and then died. I E-Mailed Humminbird to see if they had any troubleshooting advice. They informed me that parts were no longer available for my model but they offered a trade-in program. They E-Mailed me a list of several models that were offered through this trade program. I traded for a 300TX PLUS and felt like I got a fantastic deal.
