" Have an Evinrude 8hp? motor with the
Model Number E8RCUD
Serial Number B1395792
also with the name Belguim on the Serial,Model numbers plate. Can anyone tell what the year of this motor is? Thank- You Mike "

8 = 8

" Cary,

E = Evinrude
8 = 8HP
R = Rope Start
CU = 1987 model year
D = that model run

If it was made in Belgium it should have been BE8RCUD, but maybe that didn't do that with all of them.
