Have a 1969 55hp evinrude mou

Have a 1969 55hp evinrude mounted on a 15ft glasspar avalon. Are the Tilt kits available for this year? Is is that difficult to rig one up from a similar HP motor?

" I just installed a power tilt on my 1972 125 Evinrude - the previous owner never thought it was heavy enough to need one! I bought a used Evinrude unit from Boat Motor Recyclers in Burnsville, MN (www.boatmotorrecyclers.com). Price for all the parts was $ 300. They are real nice folks and easy to talk to - they don't mind answering questions, either. You have to remove the motor from the transom to install it. This is a tilt unit - a tilt & trim unit runs about $ 500. "
