" I have a Ford inboard. They only parts you should not use are starter, alt, carb, a marine water pump has a stainless impeller because no anti-freeeze is used for protection. You will rust out a automotive one in a year. "

The only way I know of to get rid of the water is to do a total bottom end tear-down and cleaning. It's not salt water is it?
