I NEED HELP with tecumsa 7.5hp carb

I bought a used 1982 tecumsa Sears 7.5 hp model 640 19b outboard. When removing the carb for cleaning, the metal on it snapped, and the thing is waisted. I cannot find a replacement carb anywhere and I was wondering if I could use a different carb from another model. If not are there any other options so I don’t waste this outboard?

The service manual cautions that the 7.5hp carbs must be removed along with the reed box as a unit, by removing the 4 screws. After it's away from the crankcase it's easier to access the 2 carb mounting nuts.
Of course this often means having to replace both the carb AND the reed gaskets.
