Mercury V-140 (Serial 1B041534) - Sudden electrical loss while underway

Hi there, today I experienced a wierd issue with my Mercury V-140 International Saltwater (Serial 1B041534)

After starting up immediately, while I was underway (was quite bumpy), I all of a sudden lost all electrics.

- The engine did not stop and when I got to the destination I turned the engine off using the key, so that part worked still.
- Instruments lost all power (except my solar charger and bilge pump which are directly connected to the batteries)
- Control box lost all power (no trim up/down or no starter motor control)
- The trim up/down switch on the engine cowling had also lost power

The part that's confusing me currently is really about why the trim up/down on the engine itself does not work.
- I have power to the main solenoid (Please see picture here for that bit)
- I have checked the three fuses at the top of the motor and they are fine
- I have pulled apart and reconnected almost all connectors

So, since I have power to the engine, I'm really wondering what would stop the trip up/down switch on the engine from working and what would cut the power to the control box (as the three fuses are all good). What else might block all power to the control box too ?

I see there are two relays next to the main solenoid and wondering if they could be the cause or is there something else I should be looking at.

Any ideas would be very welcome :)

cheers

Mark
