75 HP Mariner, runs great for a while and the shuts down

I have a 1994 75 HP Mariner hat runs great when it runs.. Every so often, usually after running for a while, it just shuts down. Appears to loose spark. After checking connections and voltages and finding no issues the motor will start back up, sometimes right away, sometimes 10 or 20 minutes later, and run fine until it shuts down again. Have checked all the ignition components according to the manual and all appear to be good. What is the most likely issue? Switch box, voltage regulator, stator, trigger coil, etc.......
 
All of the above. Suggest you buy a DVA meter (or an adapted for one that fits your ohm meter or one you can borrow. (Amazon; 30 bucks).

The answer will jump out at you while cranking her over--don't even need to run the motor.
