I keep my 23ft mako with 300 Mercury verado in the water and use it once or twice a week. On Saturday I went out and had a couple problems...normally [COLOR=#67B045 !important]I run around[/COLOR] 4600 rpms and go about 28 mph. On Saturday I was only going 19 mph at 4600 rpms. [COLOR=#67B045 !important]I tried[/COLOR] going wot which would usually be around 5700+ rpms and the engine would only rev to 5000 rpms max. I was going to get my trailer from storage and look at the bottom of boat since others in the [COLOR=#67B045 !important]marina[/COLOR] say barnacle growth is very bad this year. I was thinking this might be why the speed is low. Anyone have thoughts on this issue or the issue with the low top end rpms. Thanks for reading.
