I just purchased a 7.5 hp mercury outboard for $100.00 i know it runs as i seen it 2 days before i purchased it. Before I run it i want to change the plugs. It has AC plugs in it now. Plug number v40ffk. I went to my local Napa and asked for autolite plugs and after them looking them up they gave me part # 2852. After i got home i looked up the factory installed plugs and cross referanced them to an autolite 2872. Is the 2852 compatable with the 2872? What is the differance in them?
