Mercury 2007 60hp 4stroke motor swap

Hi i have a 2007 60hp 4 stroke with controls. And i just bought a 2004 mercury 90/65 outboard jet that had controls.. will my controls work from the 07 and wiring be the same when i put the 2004 90/60jet on?
