New 250ap 105 hours has been intermittently dropping rpms while cruising at 4400 - 4800 rpms.

Drops 1000-2000 rpm. It is intermittent but once it starts to happen it gets progressively worse and starts to happen more frequently and at rpms as low as 3800 rpm.

No alarms and seems like a fuel problem to me.

This is a twin application with both motors drawing from the same tank

What I've done:

- drained the racor filters
- no water in racors changed filter anyways
- changed the low pressure paper fuel filter
- changed the high pressure fuel filter just in case
- swapped the motors fuel lines at the motor, the problem did not follow the fuel lines. so this tells me it's the motor no the fuel system

I am working with my suzuki dealer and tech and it's under warranty but the motor is on a commercial vessel that is used daily and to heavy for me to trailer. And being that it is intermittent is hard to replicate.

Thinking it may be a weak fuel pump.

Any ideas?

Has anyone had a fuel pressure gauge connected whilst problem occurs, it could also be a spark plug breaking down when hot?
