its covered with a tarp and sits in the shade, somewhat
is the water from considation?
if it is, is there a considation , breathable top available?

Ayuh,.... So long as the water can drain away, 'n outa the boat through the bilge plug,.....
It's not really a problem,....

If mold forms, more ventilation is the answer,....

my question was ..... DOES A COVERED BOAT CAUSE CONSIDATION TO THE POINT IT LEAVES a puddle of water in the boat while sitting?

Simple answer is: YES.

To mitigate, make sure the cover has a single high point, and the low points are at the edge of the gunwales and transom, with no dips where water can accumulate on the outside or condensation can run to on the inside. Breathable canvas is much better than the plastic tarps you often see covering boats.
