Serial # confusion

I have an 50 hp 4 cyl Mercury with a serial #A160735. I cant find anything close. Dont know year/model

Does the plate say canada or belgium? I put it as a 1985 model year?

Look at the 5531630 and up parts diagrams should be for your engine. 1986-87 they went to the 3cylinder engine.
