prop shaft deminsions and spline count and manufacturer

ok here I am getting ready to order a prop shaft and don't have any data on it and taking their word that its the right one.
8M0140446 I would like to see if the splines are the same as the one I already have before ordering.
Mercury said that they have no dimensions or spline count and could not tell who manufactured it.
any suggestion as to this info. thanks, KevL​

Well that’s just the thing. Mercury said not to look under the
Torquemaster section on the parts list. There is two other list for
my model and told me which one was listed for my motor.
So assuming they are right for a second time, I ordered the part. Critical parts such as a prop shaft, this data should be readily available to the consumer.
Can’t wait on it, tournament season soon.
