Stainless steel crank shaft

I have a 28' Pace Maker a

I have a 28' Pace Maker and it has a rebuilt 350 chevy engine in it. Most of the parts on the motor are marine but i am not sure about the block and the Crank Shaft. If i do not have a stainless crank in this motor will it last long or should i pull the block and replace it with a short block marine engne? oh and by the way where can i find more information out about my pace maker boat?

I think you have missunderstood the crankshaft stuff. To my knowledge there are no stainless steel units.What there is though, are forged units of steel as opposed to the cast ones of cast iron.If you are going to spend all the time at maximum performance/full throttle go w.the forged unit. Otherwise the cast will do fine. "
