dt4 suzuki waterpump problem

Hi...having problem with water not circulating to pee hole...have replaced impellor correctly...connected drill to drive shaft and water pumps out ok...connected hose to watertube and water comes out pee hole strongly...when all put back together...nothing comes out pee hole except steam....am runnug in watertub with water above intake...any help will be appreciated thanks
 
yes was pumping with drill attached to shaft..... found the problem was the seal in top of waterpump case...water was pumping from seal and water outake....not enough pressure to get it up to powerhead...replaced seal and all good....thanks .....
