Air in gas line?

Hello!

Hoping someone can help confirm my suspicions or point me in the right direction.

I am running a 2004 Mercury 115 elpto. Took her out for the first time this year a couple days ago and see seems to struggle a bit after i plane out. Makes a popping noise and loses power. A friend suggested it could be air in the lines due to a crack. There was some noticeable gas by the primer bulb.

I took a few videos to help diagnose.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John, first step in troubleshooting outboards is a compression test, next an open air gap spark test, followed with fuel diagnostics Get those fuel leaks fixed asap, then go from there. Try squeezing primer bulb while running after inspecting all fuel lines for air leaks, cracks, etc. Was old fuel from last year still in tank? Was fuel/water separator checked/changed? Inline filter checked? Was old fuel left in engine? We need answers to help you.
