Bought a 50hp 4cyl Mariner, having a problem wiring the ignition switch.
6 position switch with abcsmm posts. Wires are black with yellow stripe, yellow w/black stripe, white w/red stripe, black,red and purple.
When you turn the key to on the solenoid kicks, when turned to start, nothing
Choke works.no kill switch right now.
Wired as follows.
Red. B
Black M
Purple S
White/red. C
Yellow/black M
Black/yellow S
