Identifying an OMC Sterndrive

I have an 1987 Sunray Express

I have an 1987 Sunray Express with a 2.5 GM engine.I am trying to find out if I have an OMC Sterndrive or a Cobra Sterndrive.Is there anyway to tell which one it is.Is there a number somewhere on the drive that can help me? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

" should be a cobra,the cobra has rubber bellows between the drive and the boat, you can see these if you turn the drive. the stringer omc unit has a big rubber seal all the way around the drive unit. "

It sounds like it is the stringer because it has a big rubber seal all the way around the drive unit. I'm told it's called a boot.
