I got this 1982 Mercury 25hp came with the control box which is a Quicksilver Commander Side Mount. My issue is that when I throttle up the cable throttles the motor down. So the way I have it hooked up, the throttle cable pulls the mechanism on the motor when I need it to push it, unless I have it hooked up wrong.. I just dont see another place to put the cables. Someone please help. My first boat and Im learning along the way. Thanks in advance!
