planing my boat

i have a 9.9 evinrude on my 14 flatbottom fiberglass boat.
my boat tends to lean more toward the stern when i have it on speed.
if it makes any sense, i have the motor in its second notch from the clamp assembly ....
tilting the motor out a notch, will it in essence plane the boat level ?
i hope that makes sense ...
if i had a power trim i could understand it, but i dont, yet .....

putting in in the notch closest to the clamp will bring the front of the boat down...we don't know how heavy the boat is though as its fiber glass nor do we know how much weight is in the rear of the boat...a 9.9 may be under power for your load..be alert when you change notches...you may have to adjust the tab on the motor to avoid extreme pull on the boat...this can be dangerous if for some reason you let go of the tiller..

iam not a fast and get em boat person, to get to point A to point B in 5 seconds.
i just leasurly fish, being retired iam in no hurry .....
anyway, my boat weighs about 750 lb.
its a flat bottom semi V -HULL
and the 9.9 evinrude 4 stroke moves the boat just fine for me, but i have noticed on full speed, the bow of the boat rises up, which i think it should do.
but i want to level it more and get it on plane
i dont make rooster tails, so thats not the problem
i have thought of installing adjustable tabs, but my transom does not have the room , with the depth finder transducer and the livewell inlet
fyi, my boat is remote steered.
i will like to send you pics of my boat, maybe that would help ...

Smart Tabs might do a good job for ya,...
