Cable to hydraulci changeover-need some advice

Currently a cable steer but going change to hydraulic.
Received a new pump but the box says "For inboard motor use only". I can understand that the cylinder maybe specific to inboard/outboard. But, why the pump? What's the difference?
 
hard to say....(maybe they mean 'inboard'(= I/O) as in not an outboard any idea who made the system?

As a rule, the application usually dives the cylinder options and that's mostly mounting options
