Hello Everybody,
This is my first time here and I hope I can get some help. I have own a 1990 Bayliner Capri which came with a 1990 Force Outboard 90 hp. The boat has ran good for years, but two years ago my lower unit got all messed up. It sized up and bottom line I need a to replace the entire unit. Here is were the issue lies. I do not have any information on this Force. The serial and unit number have worn out, at least the ones that I looked for and found. I am not sure if there is another set else were. Without this information I cannot order a replacement lower units.
Can somebody please help. I don't leave by water, (I have to drive 5 hours to get to the closest lake) Hence no repair shops where I can take my boat and have it looked at. I want to get the type of motor I have so that I can search for parts online.
Once again somebody please help.
