Coils

All coils are basically the same.
Some/most automotive have 12v.
Most marine I/O use a 12v. coil but the voltage is dropped to 9v.
The outboard coil is 12v. Some have different resistance.
What R you trying to do?
 
Some coils run on about 8 volts.-------Some are run by a magneto and not a battery.---Some CDI units run on 300 volts.---------Why the question ?????
