anyone have any thoughts or experiences with these motors good or bad? looking at purchasing a used boat with this motor.
 
Mercury V-6 motors have a good reputation.----------But when buying used you need to be aware and not buy someone else's problems.----------------Water test it or have it run on a dynomometer.----------Do a compression test on it.------------------Get a history from the present owner.---------Get some kind of warranty if buying from a dealer !
