"If it's a V-8 it's an AMC/Rambler 327. They were made from 1956-66. Kanter Auot Parts (www.kanter.com) can get most rebuild parts."

"Hot damn! Another Hudson/ AMC 327 V-8! That really brings back memories.

Have you seen the post ("Fireball 225") at the top? His boat has the same engine, and there are photos of it as well. Super cool!

"Ken there were three different engines based on the 327. They are the V8 238 with a down draft 4bbl carb, the V8 225 with dual side draft carbs and the V8 188 with dual side draft carbs. The difference between the last two is the rpm at which they reach the hp.
Other Graymarine V8s are the the V8 170 with dual side draft carbs based on a 250 cu in block and the V8 135 single side draft carb on the same 250 cu in block.
Mine is the 225 dual side draft. It is the one that Jeff mentions on the last post before your inquiry.
