Quantity of paint needed for a 14' Aluminum V?

Howdy All,

I recently picked up a 1963 Lone Star 14' Aluminum V-hull in very good shape with the exception of needed paint. I've done my research as to what primer and paint I will most likely use (unless I hear some uber suggestions in this thread) but I have no idea of the quantity of primer and top coat that I will need.

I plan to use a pneumatic spray gun for both the primer and top coat.

Any thoughts on the amount of primer (one coat) and top coat (2 coats) that I will need?

I guess I will answer my own question. :)

I started my top coat on the bottom of the hull this weekend using a compressed air paint gun. I put on 2 coats of Sea Hawk "Aluma Hawk" epoxy based paint and used 90% of the gallon that I purchased. I had to order another gallon for the interior, which I will be painting this coming weekend.
