Mercury 9.9 hp 4 stroke won't stay running

This engine will start on the second or third pull every time, the problem is it will run 1 to 3 minutes perfectly then sputter and stop. It will only run like this if choked, if i close the choke after running for a minute it will rev up and die immediately.

So far I've replaced the plugs, fuel filter, fuel line, pressure bulb and fittings.

I get the exact same result every time.

Hoping someone can get me headed in the right direction.

Do you run the carburetor empty when motor sits for any length of time ?-----------------Jets in the small 4 stroke motors tend to plug up when fuel sold today sits in them.------------Cleaning / inspection of the carburetor is likely needed here.
 
I'm new to outboard, I have not done anything deliberate to empty the fuel.

I'm more than comfortable doing engine work on on
Car engines but never outboards.

Is there a carb rebuild kit I can get.

I really appreciate the input.
