Hello Boaters
I purchased a boat with what I now believe to be a Frankenstein motor, and I need a new prop.
Motor says 55 Evinrude, but with no model number plate I am not all that positive. I THINK it may be a 1978
I purchased this prop
0778774 - Prop, Aluminum 12.25 X 15
Which fits seemingly perfectly but I am still waiting on the thrust washer.
The diagram and guy at the store said I needed this
0315810 - Spacer

However when I put the prop on it goes right to the end of the splines, so there is nothing to put this part on.
The nut goes on and everything is snug without a spacer, cotter pin too.
Do I need this spaced?
