Hi Guys,
Just bought a speedboat today with a couple of problems. The tilt and trim main piston needs new seals (or a new unit, whichever is cheaper.easier). I don't have an engine stamp label to reference as it seems like it has been removed. I note the engine stamp is usually starboard on the engine mount but nothing is here except what is pictured.
I have taken a series of pictures in the hope someone may have seen the engine before.
Also looking for advice on wither replacing the unit or just the seals would be a good idea.
Will be replacing the waterpump, what else would be a good first major service now the outboard is in my hands, willing to spend the money to make sure the engine runs sweet.
