Hello I have a 60hp mercury mariner 1975-79 that has been running fine. Well I started it today and then it shut off after about 10 seconds of running. When I went to restart the engine, I got nothing no crank, no sound, no click. I even tried the electronic choke switch and it also has stopped working. Its like there is no power from the ignition switch to the starter motor or electric choke switch to the engine. I bypassed the starter solenoid and the motor cranks over. not sure what is going on here. Please help!!!
