My son recently repowered his boat by replacing the 5.7L marine power engines with 2 new 6.0L. He has had excessive gas consumption since then but it got worse after getting bad gas from a tender. Nearly double. lots of gas and soot coming out of the exhaust. He changed the fuel filters. Had the ECMs reprogramed. Wondering about a fuel pressure regulator. Tech mate is in the mail. Spare ECMs sent out to try something else. any other ideas?
