I have a couple of questions on a Minn Kota Maxumm, foot controlled, trolling motor. One of my cables broke, and I have ordered new cables. Right and Left cables. Do you determine which cable is right and left by opening the head up and looking straight down on the cables or underneath the Foot Peddle? Also when line-up on the trolling motor, I loosen the cable adjustment screw, point the trolling motor straight forward of the boat, put foot pedal where its even or level, then adjust the cable roller gear in the head to where it matches the foot pedel position? I think this is correct, not sure.
