I have a 2005 sea ray Sundancer the dvd player a KEC stop working and they are no longer available.
I purchased a audiovox and the power hook up is slightly different.
Audiovox has three wires for power KEC has two.
KEC had neg and positive going to a place I can not get to in the boat without a major work.
Question can I just hook up the neg and positive wire from audiovox to neg and positive existing wires or should I add the third switch wire from the audiovox to the positive existing wire.
the instruction from audiovox indicate he third wire should be hook to the on and off switch,
It looks like the kec old system goes from the player to a junction box or uses a breaker listed as accessory to power up the cabin equipment TV, plugs lights.
Please forward any ideas.
