Twin Outboard Controls

I have a 23' Seacraft with twin 150 Mercury motors. The shifters will not move in either direction. What type of controls/shifters will work. How to they connect to the cables.

The boat is almost full of fuel and has been sitting 3 to 4 years. How do I remove the bad fuel, then clean out the tank, fuel lines and motors before adding clean fuel.

I am new to this so any assistance would be appreciated.

Ayuh,.... Yer control problem is probably frozen Cables,...
Don't buy new controls, when ya need cables,...
Take it apart, 'n See what's frozen, before ya buy things ya don't need,....

The Fuel, take a sample, 'n inspect it's Looks, 'n Smell,....
If it Looks, 'n Smells like gas, Run it,...

If it's Looks cloudy, 'n Smells sour, pump it out,....
Either through the dip-tube, or pull the gauge sender, 'n pump from there,...
