Failed Throttle Linkage 6.3544

My cruiser has twin Perkins 6.3544. Recently the throttle linkage on the port engine came apart. An angled pin connecting the throttle cable to the fuel pump lever popped out of its fitting (see Figure 1). The fittings are a thru-bolt with a ball and socket nut on one end (see Figures 2 and 3). I cannot tell if the socket on the pin wore out, or if the nut is the failed part. The end result is that the pin dislodged from the socket and is hanging free (Figure 1). Now there is no way to lift the fuel control lever on the C.A.V. fuel pump.

My mechanic says that there are no parts available. At least not "new" parts. Is anyone aware of what the pin and sockets (for lack of a better term) are called, and if I can find them either new or used (salvaged)?

Any assistance would be much appreciated
Many thanks.
