They are being run on talker with ear muffs, I have a good flow of water, I did notice when dropping the lower unit, that there was an open clearance between shaft and seal on upper water pump housing, may be that should be a tight fitAre you running these motors at the dock and a high idle ?----Possibly too much exhaust / air bubbles in the water to allow the pumps to work properly ?
