Leaks in an aft cabin

I am looking at purchasing a 1996 39' Silveton Aft Cabin crusier. It has a leak in the front cabin from either the front window or a seal from deck above. Can anyone provide advice on what it entails to fix, and what it would cost to have fixed? Anything general here will help! Thanks.
 
The only way to permanently fix a window leak is to remove the window and frame, and reseal the frame mating to the fiberglass, then re-install the window with a new rubber seal. Be sure that the butt ends of the rubber seal are caulked with marine silicon.
