I purchased a 1989 4 horse Johnson. The motor was running, but, I had my mechanic test it, and it had a low cylinder. Can someone tell me what heads fit this motor? 6 8 hp etc. Also what is the best book to tell me how to change out the head, or hone out the cylinders, and put new rings in it. the guy who sold it to me said it was an 89, but, the tag is off the motor. Is there a physical way to tell what motor I have.
