I've searched until the end of the interweb, but the guidance is conflicting.
1990 PCM 1:1 trans (40).
The manual says to run straight 20w oil, but all I can find in 20w is synthetic, and most of the guidance on the web says to NOT use synthetic oil in the older trans. My trans already has more fwd creep in neutral than I want to admit to. Ive also seen to switch from oil to trans fluid, but I'd rather stick with conventional oil
I'd rather stick with conventional oil, and I am having some luck with flushing the trans with seafoam mixed it.
My question is, can I use conventional 30w without issues?
