Hi I have an old Merc 40.( Approx 1978 ) It is a 4 horse power outboard motor with built in fuel tank and has two cylinders. Does anybody know where I can purchase a replacement carburettor. One needing work may be ok. I purchased a new carburettor kit but unfortunately the housing on the old carburettor is damaged and this carburettor is no longer available new. Any help would be great as this engine is of sentimental value and I would love to get it repaired. Many thanks.
