6 HP Evinrude Fisherman Blue and white Numbers on powerhead stamp are 6820R / E09593 Can we tell from theses numbers what year the motor is. Thanks in advance.
 
6802 would be a 1968 model.---------6 indicates the HP and 8 indicates 1968 model year.------------Recheck your number.-Or as always a picture helps with ID if motor is original in paint and decals.
