i all i have just replaced the seals in the gearbox section, under the water pump and gear shaft plus two O rings. the problen i have is when i put the leg back on to the motor and aline everything the gear select slips and it goes into gear. i have tried so many times , i am over it.
when replacing the prop shaft seals the prop shaft came out, is it possible something is not where it should be.
the gear select spline on the gearbox will turn nearly 360 drgrees then it engages then turn it another few mm and ite nutral then a few mm more and it is in gear again.
But when i try to fit it with the gears in nutral gearbox and gear shift it rotates a few mm and goes into gear
