One simple way of testing is to mix a portable tank with 50:1 mix.-------------Mark the level of the on board oil tank.------Run the 50:1 tank empty and see how much oil is needed to bring the tank to the same level.---------Factory manual also has a way to test it.----------I normally take the VRO pump apart for inspection to verify all the internal parts are in working condition.
